If it gets brighter as the electrical load increases it is a sign that one
or more of the charge diodes is dead. Alternatively it can be caused by bad
connections in the ignition wiring. Check the voltages on the brown/yellow
and the white at the lamp, they should be pretty-much the same. If the
brown/yellow is lower it is the alt diodes, if the white is lower it is the
ignition wiring.
