to my question
Responses ranged from sell your wheels and buy new ones, to using Les
Schwab, to using motorcycle shops, Also got some links and contacts in other
states to try out.
Since I love the look of the chrome wires, I will nose around a bit and try
to find a local shop (I'll check the Harley and Honda shops also) and get a
quote. If the prices are as high as Larry has found, next job is to look at
new wires. The wheels on the car have lasted 32 years and if I can get
another 32 years out of the next set I will be quite happy (since I will
likely be dead!!).
So you think I can enter the next F1 race with a new set of wires?
