Somewhere, probably on this list,  I read about someone re-wiring the rear 
lights on an MGB to do the following:

When the headlights are on all four bulbs were lit.  When the brake lights went 
on the additional filament of the 1157 bulb went on; 
and when the turn signals were used one of the brake lights flashed off.  Does 
this make sense?  The scheme was something like that.

Anyone out there up to figuring all this out?
