Well said.

I took a do-nothing fancy site with all the balls, whistles and
frames (owned by a friend who runs a large salvage yard; he paid
$800 for the design) and super-simplified it to nothing but a few
fast-loading graphics, formatted text and links. It loads fast and
is compatible with all browsers. I swapped him the design for $200
worth of car parts. That was around two years ago. Now Ken gets
80,000 hits per month and is selling like crazy on the site. People
looking for used parts aren't in need of fancy animation, frames,
java and such; they want a site to load quickly and get them to the
car list as fast as possible. Ken uses a 1-800 number for the actual
orders.
