Some time after the RBs were introduced the engine mountings were changed on
the 4-cylinder to commonise them with the V8, which may have had the effect
of lowering the 4-cylinder engine.  But deliberately lowering the 4-cylinder
engine from the start of rubber bumpers is news to me.
