Why do you think you need a lead additive?

Real world experience seems to indicate that under normal street conditions
these engines get by perfectly OK on unleaded fuel.

IME the additives are (1) a hassle; (2) expensive; (3) unnecessary (I won't
get into the argument as to whether they are environmentally acceptable). I
came to this conclusion after going through the process with a fresh rebuild
of a much more high-output motor than a B-series. But I suppose YMMV...
