NOT a good idea. If you are lucky, the spot that has JUST about rusted through
will show as a very small dimple or rusty spot after you have polished the
line. If you aren't lucky, you won't have any clue that the line is one hard
brake application away from perforation.
Spend the money and be safe - replace the lines!!
