I pulled the MGB's engine and transmission tonight with the help of my
brother.  I ended up attaching a bracket to the rear exhaust bolt and
wrapping a strap around the front of the cylinder head near the filler
neck.   It went really well!  I'm very surprised at how easy it was, we
were anticipating a much more difficult job.  
Thanks to all on the list who replied to my post about this subject!!!

Now on to my next question....

Is there anything special to keep in mind when having a flywheel
machined?  There are two groves in mine due to the rivets on the clutch
disk.  Their not very deep but i would like to get them out of there
before it all goes back together.
