Paul, I have to agree with you on this. Shooting somebody over a property
crime is not only stupid, it's illegal. The inevitable result is that Bubba
is going to make you his wife in prison. This macho, bravado crap is
bullshit. A little background: I am an ex-SWAT cop who has been there and
done that. Killing somebody is not something to take lightly; you will
never forget it, trust me on this. If you do take it lightly, you are
probably a psycho who society needs more protection from than somebody who
rips off cars. I have owned sports cars ever since I could drive - and I
have loved them all. Not one of them was ever worth anybody's life. Rocky,
I looked at your website and do agree with a lot of it - especially the Bill
of Rights stuff, but cool out on the gun stuff. We don't need more dead
bodies in this world.

Ah, yes. That's JUST what this country needs! More
people walking around with loaded weapons, threatening
to shoot anyone who "messes with their car". Nothing
but good can come from a situation like that!

You know I love you Rock, and you can call me a
pacifist if you want, but even if I were wacky enough
to walk around packing, I don't think I'd start
blazing away at someone who was breaking into my MGB.
Somehow, it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

But hey, this is America, right? Someone getting into
a full-fledged firefight in the streets over a radio
or a set of Rostyles doesn't seem that unbelieveable
to me anymore.

It just sounds insane.
