Just to clear things up, re-reading my initial response and it did look
a tad defensive. Really, it was more a "I need to get to work but I
will shoot off a reply before I go" thing. I hope I didn't seem too "snappy".
One thing I will mention, though, and that is you guys seem to find
"project cars" in wreckers and in "paddocks" - such things simply rarely
exist in Australia. The "tatty" examples have been shipped in from the
USA or have been projects-that-never-got-done here and are for sale
specialist workshops (like the one in that link I sent) or sometimes
privately. You have to search pretty hard to find many "restorer
specials" out there.
