GT or connertible?

Like many survivors. They were ripped apart by the press due to a lot of
issues and were not very popular when new. Now their rarity is making
them desirable and a lot more is known about how to make the cars behave
better.

They are not an MGB, and never will be. They make great relaxed driving
cars and all of the original handling and braking quirks can be sorted.
Engine performance can be improved through some basic mods and modern
tires make a big difference to handling.

These are one vehicle that I would not restore back to absolute
originality as they were not developed fully and the US ones were
saddled with smog gear which only made matters worse.

To All:
I am considering buying a MGC. What is the opinion of the group
regarding the
handling and drivability of these cars? What do you think of this model?

Thanks,
Randy Kegg
