1956 4/4 2 Seater

Hi all
I am hoping to buy an early 4/4 Series II 2 seater and have found a
car with chassis no A217 which is I belive one of the first Series II
cars to leave the factory.
 What I would like to know is how many of these cars still survive
and could this car be the oldest ?
 Are cars A200-A216 still around?
 Unfortunatly I belive the original engine was replaced in the 1960's
with a 1500 GT Cortina engine which I understand was quite
common.
