A Cortina Mk II with a 1600 crossflow engine uses the same water pump a your
1500.  The fan that came on these had 6 blades and was made of plastic or
nylon.  I am sure that they are no longer available from Ford, but  Dave
Bean or Morgan Spares might be able to supply them.  I am sorry, I have
none.
    Installing our grill to radiator duct will help when the car is
traveling at a speed of over 40 mph or so.
