Jake Alderson & Chris Chapman are correct is stating that Chassis # P2114
was the first Plus 4 to be imported by Fergus motors inc. 1717 Broadway,
54th Street, New York. It was included in a batch of three P2114; P2115;
P2116 which left the factory on 16th March 1951. However these were not
the first Plus 4's to be imported into the US. That honour falls to P2104
which was sent to Angel Motors Pasadena. California on 20th January 1951.
(I wonder if that is still around)
P2101 was indeed a DHC finished in Cream but was sold to a company in
Liverpool UK but could of course found its way to the US at a later date.
Three other DHC's were produced before chassis P2114 but two went UK deals
and the third to the Australian importer.
