Hi Tommy, 

Check out the Classis Truck Shop -- (www.classictruckshop.com), they
have a good article on Bendix brakes and pictures of how all the springs
attach.  The two same-size springs go from the brake shoes to the center
post at the top, the single spring goes at the bootom above the
adjuster.
