When I removed my cardboard headliner (original) it wasn't glued in. It just
fits into the gutter and lateral slots after being bent a bit. There was,
however, some waffle-type composition material glued onto the underside of
the roof though. It broke off in big chunks and made a nasty mess. I have
seen at least one other cab with this same material so I'm pretty sure it's
factory original on both GMC and Chevy AD era trucks.
