Mark,
If you haven't already, contact Chevrolet for their 'restoration pack.'  It 
includes all of this information.  I recently received one for the '55 
second series.  It includes such info as dimensions, weights, standard and 
optional equipment lists, colors, etc.
I believe you can order it (free!) through their website at 
www.chevrolet.com.  Just go to their customer service page.
