Only thing wrong with a longbed is that I only 
have about 2" of space behind it to close my 
garage door.  Of course I could move some of 
the junk in front of it.

   I agree on the long beds ... I have a 1958 3200.  I
subframed mine, so it has a little wedge look to it. 
I think the length only adds to look.  When it's all
done I picture it as one mean looking beast.  
   Think of it this way.  If everyone else has a
shorty, you'll stand out in a crowd of trucks.
