In defense of powder coating:  I was sold on this process when I saw the
owner of the coating shop beat on a freshly coated part with a piece of
spring steel.  It barely left a scuff mark.  It's very tuff stuff (baked on)
and it goes into inaccessible parts of the frame since it's applied
electrostatically.

 Powder coating I hear is pretty good
too but with only one drawback that I "hear" is a problem... it chips
easily.
oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
