There was one of those Chrysler gas turbine engine cars on My Classic Car TV 
show this past weekend.  The owner said it would run on Unleaded but isn't 
that good for it so he ran his on jet fuel.  Operating temperature was 
something like 1400 degrees. The engine "idled" at 20,000 rpm..
