I think the medium duty trucks are harder to sell.
They are not likely to be usable as a daily driver, even if mechanically up
to the task, parking something like that at work or at home just isn't for
everyone. If you need a truck, less money will buy something easier to
maintain with better drivability.
I know guys collect these things, but I doubt anyone is doing it as an
investment.
I know where there are a three of them, one for sale now, and two more that
will be for sale sometime in the next year or so, if anyone near Seattle is
looking...

Around here, that kind of money would buy you a Nice almost rust/dent free
cab/fenders, clean interior, good glass, non smoking engine, good overall
mechanical (road worthy, daily driver), new brake system, good tires and
good bed farm truck from that era.
If your truck sounds like that then you should be OK asking $3500.00 I can
buy running farm trucks that are rough for less than $100.00 and sometimes
they are free!
