Sorry to hear about your problems with Chevy Duty.  This isn't normal 
for them, they are usually very willing to work with errors.

Now if it was something small missing like a sheet metal screw, I 
would just go ahead and get it locally.  If it was a specific part 
that is not generally available, then by all means they should try 
to make it right.  That's my humble opinion and no, I have no connection 
with Chevy Duty other than being a customer.
