Never used a mig.  I use to weld enough to feel like I knew what I was
doing, but its been 20+ years since I struck an arc...  However, I want to
do this work myself, and need the tools in order to develop the skills.

Great tool! Good decision! Where would I be if we didn't have a mig
welder? My goodness! All the old parts you can fix rather easily if you
have a mig welder...
