I imagine it would happen with the Corvette bonnet, too, but I proved it
with the Sprite.

Aha!  That's the answer I was looking for.  Now I am afraid.  I
certainly wouldn't want solids in my brake lines.  Thanks for giving me
a definitive reason why this can't be done.  I think I was about three
years old the last time I accepted the answer "Because" as a response to
"Why."
