I need some suggestions. When I pulled the engine, I
first removed the rocker assembly and the head (to
lessen the weight, mostly). Then I threaded ring bolts
into a front and rear stud hose on the block to attach the
lifting chain. Worked great.
When I reinstall the engine, I'm not sure whether to just
reverse this process, or whether I should bolt on the head
and rocker assembly, then attach the chain to something
else (like what?).
How do most of you install the engine? Head on or off?
