Too true, too true.  That's why you see so many Bugeye racers with the 
fenders torched out larger and flares added.  But lower a squarebody an 
inch or so and you have the same problem with wider tires.  I'd rather 
not modify (butcher?) a bugeye's wheel wells for tire clearance, when I 
can have as much fun on the track with a squarebody.
