Actually, the early shocks have incompatible drop links but the same
lever arms.

the bugeyes (and MkIIs?) have a drop link with both top and bottom studs
pointing in the same direction.

The 1/2 elliptic  cars have them pointing in opposite directions. These drop
links are
also longer.
