Larry,
from you description, that sounds like the piece you need to use.
I also have a flat
>piece about 1/2 inch thick and maybe 4 inches high that would bolt to the

If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos... then you
probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.
