Pigs, filth, rozzers, bobbies, no, the police here aren't tooo bad. Traffic
police can be ok, speed cameras aren't. Have come across a few decent
traffic and other coppers. More likely to pull an old car out of interest
than to ticket it. Main problem for them is that there are so many real
crooks and so few coppers that minor road traffic offences (like cars with
only one headlight, no tax, bald tyres) rarely get a look in.
My sister had a boyfriend who was a policeman, many years ago - I had to take
him for a drive in the Sprite to show him how fast it was.
