Frank,
Thrust side faces each other (toward spacer). They are usually marked
"Thrust" but I don't know positively if the numbered/lettered side is
always the thrust side. But, you'd think so.
I get the feeling that this wheel wobble situation may be related to the
thinner (new style) outer bearing and maybe these in conjunction with worn
hubs are the problem.
I just installed a new set of those in a set of hubs for someone. He said
when he put them on the car, one side had a wobble and the other didn't. I
was talking to Peter about it today, but I'm having this guy bring me the
hubs again to see if I can sort out the problem. I'll let you know what I
find.
