Hey listers:
I've been away for quite awhile but am back now and have been lurking
recently with the digest from the list.

Finally got the clutch job done after three years.
Here's my question / dilemma to the list:
I got the header powder coated while it was out of the car. I may not have
planed good enough on this job. The header has been returned with powder
coating on the flange area. I didn't mask this off before submitting to the
coater. Is this OK to have powder coating on the flange? Will I get a
good seal at the manifold with powder coating on the port area or do I need
to get it milled off to have a metal surface for the exhaust gasket to rest?
I will get that engine back in soon and not miss another great driving
season in No. CA.
Appreciate advice or comments to my email.
TIA,
