Years ago I used to drive a 320i as a daily ride. It hated 1-2 shifts,
especially first thing in the morning. Redline MTL virtually cured that
problem over night. So, I put MTL into my '53 MGTD, which has always
required a slow hand or a quick foot to shift quietly. I really wasn't
expecting it to do much, but drivability improved noticeably with no more
need to double clutch in normal, semi-spirited driving. YMMV
