Not really.... and when you thread the zerk in, you come VERY close to 
closing off the through hole in the trunnion pin so that grease wont go 
through the pin to the blind side then out to to machined grooves in the 
pin thereby lubricating the threads.
         The rebuilt a-frames that have been modified by adding a threaded 
bushing at the small end and also drilled and tapped for a zerk are better 
able to accommodate the extra depth for the zerk.
