I'd say better than 50 % of the Healey titles I've seen over the years
(between all the Healeys I own, and the 50 or 60 cars over the years I've
found for people) are messed up one way or another. Often the "L" on say a
BN6 L (for left hand drive) gets written as a "1". Sprites seem to suffer
the same clerical error fate.

In IL, it was as simple as the right form, and have the car inspected by a
law enforcement type...(one of the only simple deals concerning the IL
DMV... where you plan on any trip there to take 4+ hours... in contrast to
Wisconsin DMV, where you might see 3 people in line, and are in and out in
10 minutes). Not sure, Larry, what you need to do in WI (yet).

I understand that but I have NEVER known the DMV to be a good
place. I can see them asking for proof from Austin-Healy of North
America that the car was manufactured on a certain date (Wether or
not there is an Austin Healy of North America or not!) and then
there would always be the fact that you signed a piece of paper
stating that all of the info was correct before and now you want to
change it.. my little brain only sees the stirring of a hornets nest
with the best of intentions and the worst of outcomes..

Lester

.. and I understand not wanting to be a bad PO.. really!!
