Only if they raised their hands first ;-)

I don't think it was quite that simple. After all, this is the same tire
they used for qualifying. The rules were straightforward... they COULD have
changed their tires, but NOT without incurring penalty points. This wasn't
the first race of the season, nor the first time that Michelin had seen
Indy, they made the wrong choice. Besides, the people who made this decision
are NOT the ones who sell you their tires for your car, so it isn't as if it
is a corporate policy with any chance of making you safer any more than it
is a company that sends babies out in horizontal tire-shaped hovercafts with
no visible means of guidance or propulsion ;-)
