Hi Linda,

I'll endorse David's find re the Mad Dogs & Englishmen show just outside of
Kalamazoo. It's a show on grass, has several "barns" full of old cars, and
a bagpiper welcomes everyone in the morning. Featured marque is Austin.
The website for the club that hosts the show:
<http://maddogsandenglishmen.org/>.

The Windsor-Detroit MG Club gathers for the drive out there, all backroads;
you could probably hitch a ride with someone there. Club president is Jeff
Zorn, owner of Little British Car Company: <http://www.lbcarco.com/>. If
you are interested in going maybe drop him an email. Details:
<http://www.mgcars.org.uk/wdmgcc/Mad%20Dogs%20and%20Englishmen%202006.htm>.

The Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club (actually an all-marque club) has it's
membership meeting on Tuesday in Royal Oak, about 11 miles north of the
city. Club site: <http://detroittriumph.org/>. I'll be there and would be
glad to buy you a pint!

Cheers,
Blake Discher
