OK - my new 1275 is back out and on the engine stand
because the gear redustion starter wuioldn't spin it.
The engine has sat for 3 months since assembly now. I
spun it with a breaker bar, and it quickly got back to
where it felt like after assembly. Now my inexperience
has me worried - is it too tight??? I put a torque
wrench on it, and with the plugs out it takes approx.
55 ft lbs to spin it. Do I stuff it back in the car
and try it??? Will the starter spin it? Do any of you
engine gurus have advice? Any info would be
appreciated!
