I took a small piece of aluminum rod, drilled a 1/16" hole thru it, turned down the ends in a lathe so the vacuum line hoses would fit over it, and that seems to have smoothed out the fluttering diaphragm on the distributor. Gonna go for a drive and see about the pinking...
