I have to put my Sprite on ramps, so that the frame legs will fit under the
A frames.
DO NOT use ramps, in which one is slightly twisted. I had a live Slobberbone
show jamming on the stereo out in the garage, while working the engine back
into the 65. I was under the car, pushing the transmission over, to get it
lined up into the tunnel, and the car shifted off one side of the twisted
ramp, placing the crossmember on my chest. I was not so much pinned, but
between the legs of the hoist, and the tire precariously balanced on the
canted ramp, I was not willing to risk dropping it the rest of the way onto
me by pushing my way out. I had to wait for the disc to end, before I could
get my wife to come out and jack the car up with my floor jack, so that I
could get out. Now I work sans music...
