When has anyone in the American society settled accross the board on values?
The fact is IF a 289 had ever been put in place of a 260 someone (ROOTES OR
CHRYSLER) would have been sued ....pure and simple. This is not a
manufacturing debate,  nor is it a costs saving hero situation. This is a
legend and a farce for those who had motors replaced by dealers and owners at
a time where there was not much of a option. Figure it out folks and move on.
