All Alpine IV's & V's and Tigers sold in the US had red, outside-screw
lenses.  IN EUROPE, the amber, inside-screw lenses were then a requirement
of law -- the colour, guys, NOT which way the bloody thing screw in! -- so
cars sold there had these.
