FYI: I have a set of CAT rear springs which I would be happy to GIVE away, if
you really want them. They are stiff as heck, result in increased ride height
and generally don't work well. They are also at least 10 years old, maybe CAT
has revised the design? For me a better option was to take apart a set of
Alpine springs, re-arch them to lower ride height (just a little, I'm a big
believer in controlled suspension travel, particularly in the rear of a Tiger)
and add a second primary leaf. I also only bound the spring packs in front of
the rear end, kind of like an old Mopar Super Stock spring, leaving the rear
part of the spring un-clamped. With the additional benefit of bolt on Traction
Masters (courtesy of the fabrication skills of Keith Queen), my Tiger really
hooks well with no axle hop and good forward bite off of turns.
