Daniel has a request for the ad for the dash with the glovebox and I am also
imnterested as I have a glove box door which looks very original. I have a
question in that what is the history of this ? was this ever a factory
option or is this an after market piece? Both Theo and i had a good look at
this and if it is aftermarket it is really well done. The door fit extremely
well with two countersunk hinges in the bottom. On top there is two wooden
stops attached to the dash from behind and were varnished with the rest of
the dash. The latch is a spring loaded rotating assembly reminiscant of
other british cars of the era specifically Jaguar. WHO ELSE HAS A GOVEBOX
DOOR???
