In the good old days (Flathead Ford), to remove a frozen hub we would
loosen the axle nut one turn and replace the cotter key. Apply
penetrating oil and just drive. If you are patient, it will
eventually break loose. Sometimes an inside turn with taps on the
throttle would accelerate the process. Of course you have to monitor
the process or the key/splines (whatever is used on the Tiger) could
be damaged by driving for an extended time with the hub loose.
