Steve, I thank you for your brief response!:-) and am moved to point out that
I have no ill will toward the TAC program or the fine people trying to make it
work for everyone. They all deserve respect and my point was not do dis
anyone. However the good DrMayf made a point that resonated.

A few years ago while under some stress I decided out of respect for my (may I
call it a Tiger!:-)
to lower my asking price from $50,000 to $10,000 (it is always for sale as is
everything).

One potential buyer on the phone asked if I had it TAC'ed and for me it is not
practical to do that yet so that was the end of the conversation. I could
have shown this individual the original papers from where it was delivered and
picked up in Italy (those papers called it a Tiger) and I could also shown an
original battery ventilation system (some have told me those were not on
Tigers but it was on mine) or I could have shown original other things like
the trunk dividers, side panels etc but perhaps this person worried that I
faked it all!:-)

I am grateful to the TAC process for helping me not sell my beloved Tiger and
I have raised the asking price back to $100,000 for fear that someone might
actually come up with the $50,000!:-)

My point is that if you are really interested in a Tiger a TAC is only one
data point and because someone does not have their Tiger TAC'ed does not mean
it is not a real Tiger nor should that be inferred.

I'll go back into my cellar and resume work on my wine now! Thanks for the
interesting exchange!
