        Good catch.   I'm not an electrical guy so unless I'm really
concentrating on it; confusion will reign.
I probably have them in parallel but you are absolutely correct and I need

Ron, Listers,

I know of one Tiger that had an accident caused by a mechanical failure of
the hydraulic switch. Add that to the other good reasons to install a
mechanical switch on the brake pedal. It's easy and much less trouble prone.

Ron - Hopefully your two switches are in parallel, not series, otherwise you
multiply your chances of failure.
