Tony,
I removed only one header when dropping the engine out the bottom. But
with a good 1/4" uj and extesion it's easy enough to bolt/unbolt the
headers. I used a motorcyle jack to support and lower the engine and
wheel it out. No jig needed just some wood blocks. I agree about the
crossmember...
