  Thanks for all the help.  Of course, I don't have the plug from the 
original harness nor is my alternator marked, but I finally tracked down 
an excellent reference on the net.  Check out page 5 which has a very 
clear picture of the terminals, although the description appears to be a 
little different for some reason.  I have been able to re-confirm the 
picture on two other sites, so I'm pretty confident that it's correct.
