I have a Superior (Super) Lifts from 2000. Has worked fine.
I have read of several 4 post lifts failing and collapsing though. When
you get one, don't neglect to keep lubing and inspecting the pully system.

Most all of the 4 post lifts are really the same with only minor variations,
mostly to the locks.

When you are pouring your new concrete, make sure its deep enough
so you can bolt the lift down. Its a feature that they can just stand there
but they are a little scarey unstable that way. I think they spec that because
every one will be slightly different, so you need to install it, exercise it and
then drill some mounts. I have cables in my slab so I can't drill it if I
wanted
to. I made some brackets and bolted two diagonal columns to the walls.
Its real stable now. Unless you have a big garage or outside pad, you
don't need the caster kit.

Gary

I have one from DirectLift and am happy with it. I've had it at least 5 years.
I think it was about $2300 delivered when I got it. They had a special at a
swap meet but it's probably around the same price anyway. It came with casters
so I can roll it around if I choose, some plastic drip trays, the ramps of
course, and a jack channel. It's a little slow going up and down, but has
always worked. I use it mainly for storage (one car on top of another). Steve
