I will go back and flip the bubble piece.  I think if it is assembled that
way, and there is a good seal by the o-ring, it will create an air pocket
for that bubble to be a cushion to absorb the vibrations in the fuel.  If I
leave it the way it is, the bubble will be useless because it will not
create any spring..

What do you mean by: "until the points just throw over"?  That's what the
book at instructions say. That's one of the things I don't understand.
